"Oh One Voice.... you make the world so much more beautiful. Thank you, thank you for your incredible concerts this past weekend.  I’m still trying to find the words to let you know how grateful I am to have been there – just as a human."

"[One Voice is] a real model of what choral singing can BE!!!"

Sanctuary explores the music of immigrants to Minnesota --  from early Scandinavian immigrants, to African Americans arriving through the Underground Railroad, and more recent music of Hmong, Mexican and Somali communities. Several contemporary songs describe the experience of LGBT people struggling for a place of belonging and finding home through both biological and chosen family.

This concert is in collaboration with Green Card Voices, which has collected stories of youth immigrants. Sanctuary features Green Card Voices storyteller, Luis Angel Santos Henriquez.
